Salad bars in schools are cool! Salad bars can help students eat more fruits and vegetables that are important for good health. Salad bars can help schools meet the new meal standards for fruits and vegetables. The State of Alaska Child Nutrition Programs, Obesity Prevention and Control Program, and Farm to School Program have partnered together to help get more salad bars in schools.

ReplyDeleteVoting for Delta High School
ReplyDeleteWe already have it purchased, but it is sitting in the back of the school kitchen collecting dust. It was taken away though because a few years ago it was misused. I was wondering if someone could look up some sources for me on how many schools have salad bars, how helpful they are, how they promote wellness. Thanks a bunch :)
